And decompressed. I am taking ANOTHER leisurely morning, and I almost feel okay with going back to work this afternoon. I don't think I've ever said that before. I have taken more time off than this before, but since I didn't travel anywhere it makes it seem like I was gone for so long and that I'm going to have so much to catch up on when I go back. One other troubling thing: I found it absolutely impossible to keep my eyes open while reading last night at about 8:45 pm, and tonight I am supposed to work till 10 pm, followed by a 40 minute drive home! Well, I was out till 10 pm last Monday night with my photography class and did just fine, so I'm not actually so worried.
Well I have more pictures from yesterday, but I don't feel like leaving this comfortable spot to get the camera, so those will follow in another post. Max, Dylan, C. Meabon, and I went to the Cardinals' tailgate during the morning. In the afternoon, we took a short bike ride (finally!), cooked dinner, and crossed some items off the to-do list. I mentioned earlier how an extra day would allow me to fit in everything I needed and/or wanted to do, but that didn't really happen! It's okay though...it was such a great weekend. Now I have all morning to do whatever didn't get done over the last few days. I thought having one day every couple of weeks to run errands during normal business hours would be so helpful, but the only errand on my agenda is to pick up some pants from the alterations lady. All I know is, I need to get out and run so I can shower before the people come to fix the well and turn off the water. Ugh, another broken thing on the house. I'm sure all homeowners feel my pain. Oh well. Have a great week!
